In this blogg im writing about my everyday life with dogs and something about my breedings too.
I will introduce my own four petits.
With me is living 9 years old "Lulu". She came from Canada from Patricia Corsiatto at age of three. To Pat i sended a pup from Lulu about two years later; ch.Prinzlands Troy at Amonvhars. Lulu had only her one litter before she got tumors in ovarys and she had an sterilization. I would been so happy to have one more litter from here; she was a wonderful mother and her pups has been great!
One of them lives in Austria as huntingdog and pet, the male in Canada and others here in Finland.
Lulu has now some problems with her health and one day is bad, some better. She has osteoarthritis and she have some tumors in her urethra. We live day by day and has to see how it will be.
Lulu was Canadian ch when she come, now she is also Finnish and Estonian ch and Winner from 2006 in Finland. But most of all she is the hard, strict lady in the house ! Most important for her is eating ; and i mean eating whatever ! Peppers, banana, apple,cabbage, chili....you name it, Lulu eats it! Also small birds straight from buches at backyard.
Second thing is to keep discipline with other dogs. She like tracking, and she is good in that.
Then here is "Tarmo",8 years old male from Elli Hemiä. Tarmo is a very funny,relax and loves all people. Not interested so much about rabbits. Most interested of people, sleeping, walking out and playing with balls. A dog who have a very strong own mind and lives in his own world. There is no big dogs, not too much noise, good food and lot of company and playing.
Tarmo aka Fin ch, Nord Winner-05 Yamastha Crocodile Dundee is Totos best friend. Turning his back to everyone who tryes to fight and like to be with family. He understand amazing number of words and like to watch all wildlife documents from tv !
"Toto", my big star in showrings from year 2005 when hi started shows till 2010 when we started to go less. Toto is now waiting to be 8 years; in Finland a dog can compete in veteran-class in that age. Then he will have some shows. Usually we only take part at Bassetclubs special and some big internationals anymore. Toto is too from Patricia and im so grateful to got this male as 4 months old puppy.
Totos titles are C.I.E, Fin ch, Junior Winner and Nordic Junior Winner 2005, European Winner 2006, Finish Winner 2007, Swedish and Estonian Winner 2008, Nordic and Finnish Winner 2009 and Finnish Winner 2010. Allso number one showpetit in Finland 2006-2007-2008.
Hi is a huntingdog in his heart, should actually been living at someone who hunts a lot. With me hi have been only couple times and shown he know what to do. We track and hi loves it too but if there is a smell of animals; he leave the track and start hunting :)
Toto is very tight with me, totally my dog and dont care of many people. Only some really good friends he has in his life. He come along with nearly all dogs, some males of cource not.
Toto loves outdoor-life and that we do so much as possible.
My new little girl who totally steelen my heart is "Mimmu". Giunone dell`Olimpo aka Mimmu is from Italy, from Maria Montesero. Thak you Maria again of this sweet and happy little girl ! So gentle, so lively, so stubborn, so.....petit !
There was some trouble with Lulu first, but Mimmu melted even Lulus heart finally. Toto is Mimmus best friend, Tarmo just sometimes take part of their running and playing. Mimmu is now 9 months. been ones at puppyshow, BOB and BIG 2. The official shows we start in may, but our main issue for next summer will be tracking.
I will write about our shows and also some "important" things at home too also in English.
